Computational Fluid Dynamic Study
Working for energy provider SSE, Element provided design and engineering services in partnership with JG Consulting for a large ASHP (Air Source Heat Pump) array. Provide heat energy to the local residential area through the existing underground heat network.
CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamic) simulations were modelled to provide confidence to the client and planning that the proposed energy centre would not pose a risk of cold discomfort and visible plumage that would be deemed unacceptable to the local community.
